Chapland ATL — Riverside Woodland Sanctuary

Riverside Woodland Sanctuary

Nature-based workshops + soulful escapes

The Chapland Difference

Not a classroom with recess. A living landscape for learning.

Some children learn best when their hands are moving, their senses are awake and the world feels worth wondering about. Chapland pairs purposeful academics with long-form outdoor exploration, creative studios, nourishing food and the steady care of a close community.

Here, nature is not an occasional field trip. It is the setting, the science lab, the art prompt, the regulation space and the place where confidence takes root.

Three Pathways. One Sanctuary.

Learning that meets children where they are.

Mixed-age experiences build leadership, empathy and belonging, while individual learning pathways keep each child appropriately stretched.

The Chapland Learning Philosophy

Growing capable minds and grounded human beings.

Academic growth matters. So do agency, creativity, emotional regulation, movement, practical life skills and a child's sense that they belong.

01

Rooted Academics

Strong literacy, mathematics, science and social studies foundations—made memorable through the land, meaningful projects and individual pacing.

02

Wild Curiosity

Creeks, trees, gardens, weather and wildlife become living invitations to observe, question, test, build and discover.

03

Creative Courage

Visual art, music, storytelling, movement and making help children develop voice, confidence and original thought.

04

Whole-Child Belonging

A close-knit community gives children room to be known, supported and challenged without being rushed or overlooked.

Nourished on Purpose

Food is part of how children feel safe, seen and ready to learn.

Chapland's proposed tuition includes a wholesome lunch and two snacks. Menus will be plant-forward, colorful and child-friendly, with thoughtful planning for allergies and family food values.

  • Vegan
  • Vegetarian
  • Allergy-aware
  • Religious
  • Cultural

Every accommodation is confirmed through a written family food plan before enrollment so it can be provided safely.

Children should not have to leave their body, creativity or culture at the door in order to learn.
